It was a good run, but for the first time since Covid-19 hit the United States, I have tested positive.
Thankfully, I’m vaccinated, and these later variants seem to be more contagious, but less severe. I’ve been coughing, congested and generally run down; but that’s about it I haven’t been bed-ridden, hospitalized or in need of a ventilator.
Honestly, the worst part has been being quarantined. I’m just bored at this point.
I don’t want to sound ungrateful, because I’m really appreciative of the fact that I caught this virus in a time when we know so much more about it but at the same time, there’s a big part of me that feels a little bit WWE fans felt when the undertaker lost to Brock Lesnar at wrestlemania, that’s ending his undefeated streak at the pay-per-view.
Besides, having to stay home from work the week before Memorial Day wasn’t too bad.
