What’s your favorite time of day?
I would have to say that mid/late morning is probably my favorite time of day. Lunches without a doubt, my favorite meal of the day.
I am an early bird, but that is only because of my career. I teach so it’s necessary that I get up early in the morning. One of the nice things about teaching, especially if you teach the same subject multiple times throughout the day, is it you get more than one opportunity to teach a lesson. If something doesn’t go, well, you can adjust for the next group that comes in. I think for that reason, I find myself hitting my stride around mid/late morning and just before lunch. As long as I’m able to get up in the morning, get to work and get started, I can easily adapt to any changes I need to make as I go on throughout the day.
Unfortunately, for me, after work, I’m tired. I’m worn out. The good news is that during the work week my workday pretty much the majority of what I need to accomplish. being a teacher, it’s pretty tough to have any semblance of a normal social life during the school year.
