Is there an age or year of your life you would re-live?
If I had to narrow it down to an age/ a single year. I would chose the period from 1994-1995, a span that includes my 21st birthday. At no other time in my life did I have so much freedom AND so few responsibilities.
I was attending classes at my local community college; getting ready to transfer to a 4 year school. I ran my own landscaping business at the time, which meant not only did I set my on hours, but I also got back whatever work I was willing to put into the business. On top of that, I also held a part-time job at the local mall during the winter months.
For my circle of friends and I, our world revolved around going to bars, seeing our favorites bands perform and trying to pick up women.
Even living it in the moment, I had a sense that it wasn’t going to last forever. I one thing would change with my friends and I once I transferred schools; but it was more than that. We knew that the sun was setting on our youth. Adulthood and The Real World was the impending darkness that was waiting to swallow is all. Little did I know that I was a few months away from meeting The Future Ex Mrs. Rob, or X1, as we know her today.
Is there a year or time of your life that you would chose to re-live?
