This is an easy one: reading. I wish I could devote more time to reading every day.
I’d love to use the excuse that, as a school teacher, I have too much other stuff to read. In our school years, this would be true. However, this year has been a bit of an exception to that rule. I do think the amount of time I’ve dedicated to this writing blog lately has cut into what would otherwise be recreational reading time.
I started reading Anna Karenina in January and I got about 90 pages into it before I put it down. I have yet to put it back up. Of course, I probably have another half dozen books sitting around the house that I started reading and I’ve never finished. Now, after seeing part one and part two of the movies, I want to read Frank Herbert’s Dune. I have a few other books sitting in my cart on Amazon. Maybe I’ll get around to them someday.
