Before you believe some wacky story that you read online today, or a relative that announced they’re pregnant, double check your calendar.
Yep. Today’s April 1st
History.com has a great article on the origins of April Fool’s Check it out HERE, if this kind of thing interests you. As for me, I HATE practical jokes. I hate being the victim of them. I would rather have people laugh with me than AT me.
To that end, I don’t like to play practical jokes on people either. It would be hypocritical of me to do so something to someone that I don’t want done to me. Besides, I get nothing out of it. Jut as I don’t being laughed at, I don’t like laughing at others either. To me, humor is more about being witty; not making someone else look like a fool. As of 5 AM this morning, the April Fool’s Day prank posts had already started. I won’t repeat the one I saw; only because I don’t want to dignify them.
What are you are feeling on April Fool’s pranks? Like them? Hate them? If you like them, are you okay with being at the receiving end of an April Fool’s Day prank?
