I suppose like anybody else, I like talking about what’s going on in the world, the weather, things like that. One thing I’ve always prided myself on is my ability to strike up a conversation with strangers. I don’t think it’s necessarily small-talk that I engage in, but maybe that’s all it really is. Having said that, asking this question is like asking me what are my interests. But here are 2 topics that are always at the front of my mind:
Politics
I know politics is such a hot button tropic, but it is something I’m very passionate about. And for that reason, it’s something that I like to talk a lot about. I hate that we’ve reached a place in this country where are politicals used in our personal ideology have become completely inseparable, yet here we are.
But even I must admit that I get tired of bickering back-and-forth with people from the other side of the political spectrum.
Baseball
Hey, I’m a guy. I suppose there has to be at least one sport on this list, right? I’ve written a lot on the blog about how big of a baseball junkie I am. This one should come as no surprise to anyone who’s a few of my posts. For me, it doesn’t matter, I can talk about what’s going on in the game this season; I can talk about something from the overall history of the sport.
The game is just become so synonymous with summer and good memories of my childhood. It’s just completely ingrained in my DNA now.
