Do you have a quote you live your life by or think of often?

I try to live my life by this quote, but I don’t always live up to it. I do think that good things happen to people who take chances. I think when X1 and I moved to South Carolina 16 years ago, that was an incredibly bold move. Whether or not it paid off is subjective. But nonetheless, as the kids say, I shot my shot.

In fact, I happen to like this quote so much, that it is one of just a few things that I have seriously considered having tattooed on my body. I talk a little bit more about getting inked here.
