My favorite season is summer, and it’s not even close.
People can see what they want to you about “when it’s cold, you can always put on another layer of clothing. When it’s hot, you can always strip down so much”. I don’t even care about that. I will take extreme heat of summer any day of the week and twice on Sunday over extreme cold of winter. 
It’s not even so much that I like the high temperatures because God knows that every night when then it wipes me out. For me it’s more that I like seeing the Sun.
Also, I think there’s something inherently hardwired into my DNA about looking forward to the summer. As a kid growing up and going to school – and isn’t an adult working in education – I’ve kind of built up my entire year looking forward to the summertime.
