Wine me, dine me, innings nine me!

What’s your definition of romantic?

God, I hate this question. How Is one really expected to answer it? The very thought of being romantic and some of my previous relationships made me anxious.

I think an easy answer is to say things like candlelight dinner, walk on the beach, Rose petals on the floor and schwanky music. The truth is, I think being romantic means being thoughtful of what your partner needs, and more importantly in this case – what your partner wants.

How can you not be romantic about baseball?

As for me personally, what are some things that someone could do to me? I would probably say some prime seats at the baseball game. Maybe hanging out in a downtown area, checking out the city. Exploring the nightlife. Of course, i like a choice hotel room too; preferably one with a view of the city.

Moneyball is one of my favorite movies. I’ve liked it long before I started watching baseball again. I tell people it’s not a baseball movie. Baseball just is part of the story.

I like this movie A LOT as well. It’s one of those rare times when the movie is better than the book it’s based on.

The book itself is a real dry run-through of statistics, for the most part. Not really page-turner for the masses.
