At this moment, I am seeking adventure. Don’t get me wrong: security is good. But given the place I’m at in my life right now, with as little holding me back as there is, I’m looking forward to new adventures.
I have this tendency to, not “wear out my welcome”, but sometimes ride out my status quo to the bitter end. More often than once, I feel like I have run too many things in my life into the ground. Sometimes, circumstances almost have to back me into a proverbial corner before I make some great change in my life.
I feel like there are several people and situations that have lasted past their shelf-life. I’m looking for something new: new friends, new relationships, new professional challenges – maybe even new surroundings.
I guess I’m not finding security in much of anything right now. That’s probably why I’m craving a change of scenery so much. Sometimes I wish life was like a comic book; where a new writer comes in to shake up the status quo. I don’t any cataclysmic events to happen that would completely deconstruct me – to take me back to the core of who i am like Iron Man 3. I just want something new.
Are you seeking security or adventure?
