A year ago, I wrote about how I was inspired by this pearl of wisdom by one Ferris Bueller:”life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.” my response from last year is in the embedded post below. 
I like to think that a pretty good job of adopting this philosophy to my personal life. The one example I always go back to is getting married. Your wedding day is one of those days is it goes by so quickly. And for many people, obviously it’s one of the biggest states of their life. But it is important to stop, take it deep breath, get your bearings and take everything in.
I mentioned your wedding day, but it doesn’t have to be the day that you get married. It could be any big day or any big moment in your life. Having a child, graduating from high school, graduating from college. It’s important to slow down. Soak everything up and process it.
