if I had three wishes, all I would need is one. Just as i said in my response to this prompt from last year, i want to live on Earth as it’s depicted in Star Trek – specifically Earth in the 24th century as seen in Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

Star Trek’s Earth has been referred to as a “post scarcity” society. There is no racism, great, or hunger. Everyone has everything that they’ll ever need – or at least has the ability to easily get what they need. Even within the fictional Star Trek universe, Earth is seen as a paradise. Captain Picard explains this in First Contact when he says: “The accumulation of material wealth is no longer the driving force of our species”. Of course, this is to say nothing about having transporters and interstellar travel!
