My answer to this prompt is the same as it was last year; and I’m sure it will be the same answer next year as well. The best thing about owning a pet is the unconditional love and loyalty they show a good owner.
House pets, particularly dogs and cats are the ultimate “ride or die” partners. I’ve always said that a dog would follow a loving, caring owner off of a cliff. While I don’t think that that level of nearly blind loyalty is healthy for one human to show another, it is nice to know or there are some truly loyal creatures in this world. if you’re lucky my, you can sometimes find that level of loyalty in a cat too.
