Make Your Voice Heard!

OK, so this one isn’t really a new lesson that I’ve learned; But it is one that I am taking to heart again in the last few days: make your voice heard.

maybe it’s because I’m losing patience with my students right now. We are at the end of our first semester, and only have one week of school left before we go on holiday break. Or perhaps it’s because I’ve been dealing with Mother’s ailing health lately, and it is an increasingly frustrating situation.

But lately, I have been making myself heard more. I have been raising my voice more. More to the point, I have been speaking up for myself more.

i’ve never been very good at speaking up for myself, Or even letting people see that I get angry. But I do think it is important every now and into display your anger or frustration with the situation. If you don’t do that, people are just going to walk all over you. God knows I’ve had enough of that in my life.

I answered the same prompt roughly one year ago. At that time, I was talking about the idea of making every day count. Check out my response to this prompt from last year in the embed below…

I love that picture; That’s amazing. Secondly, I feel your pain about teaching at the end of first semester. I wish you all the best and congrats on finding your Voice. Have a great day.
