As WordPress continues to recycle old prompts, I pulled another prompt from The Coffee Monsterz Co to respond to today
What will you continue doing in February, and what will you leave behind in January?
Wow, are we already finishing one month of 2025?
Just keep writing!
One thing I know I’ll continue doing in 2025 is blogging everyday. I don’t feel quite as creative as I did at this time last year, but I am feeling somewhat reinvigorated over the last few weeks. Besides, at this point, I have no desire to let my blogging steak come to an end.
Sick of being sick
What I hope to leave behind in January is getting sick. It’s been nothing serious- just your garden variety or respiratory infections and the flu – but I feel like I’ve been on antibiotics and prescription meds as my as I was off of them this month.
Winter sucks, and it is the time of year for this stuff to happen. After all, we spend so much time indoors and around everybody else’s germs. But I’m still hoping to be over it, at least for the rest of the season. Pitchers and catcher report for spring training in less than 2 weeks. It sounds corny, but it’s one of the few things I look forward to during the early part of the year. For me, that’s one of the sure-fire signs at winter is eventually going to end.
We’re already 1/12 of the way through the year. If I’ve got things I want to get done this year, it’s time to get to it.
