Today is May 4th. To those of you who are fans of the Star Wars franchise, and even to those of you who are not: May the 4th be with you!
As WordPress continues to recycle old prompts, I pulled another prompt from The Coffee Monsterz Co to respond to today
How much time do you spend outside daily?
Growing up, I was a kid who played indoors more often than outdoors. I had my action figures. I would watch movies, and TV shows. I would play board games, and even write my own little books. This is not at all to say that I never spent any time outside. Some of my fondest memories of my childhood are of playing baseball, football, hockey, soccer with my friends in the neighborhood as the seasons changed. But yes, more often than that, I was that kid who probably spent more time indoors, letting my imagination run wild.
To answer the prompt, I don’t spend a nearly as much time outside as I would like to. I mean, granted, the weather is gradually getting warmer here in this part of the country so I find myself starting to spend more time outside as soon as I get home from work every day. But if you were to ask me right now to measure how much time I spent outside per day, it would probably be less than one hour.
By: “summertime“ I’ll probably be spending more time outside than I do with any other time of year. I have no doubt that if I lived in a warmer climate, I would spend much more time outside on a regular basis. When I lived down south, I had the best complexion and best tan that I have ever had in my life.
