How do you relax?
Sometimes, relaxing, for me, can be simply a matter of stopping what I’m doing, catching my breath, and allowing myself to regain my bearings.
But as far as activities working out helps me to relax. helps me to clear my mind and focus on some thing other than whatever I’m thinking about. Sometimes, the pain and exhaustion that comes from physical activity is enough to divert my mind.

Otherwise, I like to go for a walk – as more head-clearing. Often times, depending on the time of day, I will sit down and watch a TV show, maybe even a Star Trek rerun, cover something I’m familiar with, just as a source of comfort.
When I lived down south, roughly a half hour from the ocean, one of my favorite places on earth to relax was the beach. most people like to be in a crowded spot on the beach to be around activity. Personally, I like to choose a quiet, more secluded area, where there aren’t as many people around. These kind of places are where you can simply sit in listen to the random birds, passing by, and the rhythmic ocean tides. Also, knowing that you can come back to the ocean – in a year, 10 years, 100 years – and it will be exactly where you left it is always reassuring.
But shoot it in the right direction

Live those dreams
Scheme those schemes
More than ever, living in a society, and a moment in time, where everybody wants everything “bigger, better faster, five minutes ago, and “it is important for one to take a step back, check themselves, relax, unwind, get your bearings back. Whatever you want to call it, mental health, and regaining perspective are crucial.
