What could you do more of?
I think a lot of us have more down time on our hands than we care to admit. Here’s a few things I would could (and probably should) be doing more of…
Work – I know a lot of teachers who are taking on a second job, often because they don’t have the money to pay their bills by teaching alone; also, because they have the extra time on their hands with summers off and what not. I think this year, for the first time in several years, I’m probably going to pick up a second job, so this one is a work in progress
More time with my kids – this one almost goes hand-in-hand with my thoughts about working more. With more money, I would be able to spend more money, and more time, with both my boys. I know, it’s a very paradoxical, American attitude – the idea that working more equals spending more time with my children. But working more would provide me the means to travel more.

Exercise – I think we can all use more exercise. We could all use more energy, and be in better shape. The last time I got myself really dedicated to working out on a regular, almost daily, basis, my metabolism improved all by itself. I started eating less. And even though I’m something of a junk Food junkie, they were certain foods that I could no longer stomach.
What could you do more of?
