Which animal would you compare yourself to and why?

I’d like to think that I’m a bear, but I’m probably more of a dog. This YouTube video asks if bears are related to dogs. I swear, I didn’t find this video until after I wrote this post!

I love the idea of how ferociously strong bears are. At the same time, they are very playful. Bears are so loving with their young, that its sometimes hard to remember that a bear could easily eviscerate a human.

But the truth is, I’m probably more like a dog. Most of the time, I’m loyal to a fault. In most of my relationships, I have been the dumpee, rather than the dumper. Sometime I think I’m pretty stupid too. No not “drink out of a toilet” stupid; but I could be better at reading the proverbial writing on the wall sometimes. Maybe naive would be a better adjective than “stupid”. But as it is with dogs, I also feel that most people aren’t deserving of the level of loyalty I display to the important people in my life.

Wow, this got a little deeper than I expected it to get.
