I used to look to The Old Man for for advice. I don’t know that i can honestly say that I “admire” anybody. Again, probably the last person I admired was The Old Man.
My dad wasn’t perfect by any means; but he was a good man. He took care of his family. Growing up and even into my early adulthood, I always felt better I owing he had my back. I wish I was. Ire like him.
Since he has passed, the only thing I can really do whenever I am confused or reach an impasse is ask myself “what would the old man do?“ and try to do the best I can.
