I touched down on this subject in a recent post HERE, but we’ll do this again. My favorite things about myself are my compassion for others and my, for the lack of a better term, youthfulness.
Compassion
I think my best trait is my compassion for others. I talked a lot, another posts about the fact that sometimes people mistake my kindness and compassion for weakness. I don’t think the compassion makes me a weak person. In fact, I think it makes me a very strong willed person. Some people try to take advantage of it. Some people may think less of me because of it, but it’s just who I am.
As I’ve talked about other posts, I looked at the line that Peter Collin has often said about voicing Optimus prime. He describes the character as “strong enough to be gentle” this is my idea that he picked up from his brother Larry who served in the armed forces.I’m fairly certain that Larry heard it from General MacArthur himself.
Youthfulness
I really think that one of my Best attributes is my usefulness. More to the point, my interest in things that might seem a little bit immature. I like Star Trek. I like comic books. I like baseball. I still like my favorite rock bands of the 80s 90s and 2000s. I think all of the stuff gives me kind of a useful attitude towards life. I don’t think of myself. At least, I don’t think that I fit the image of a stereotypical 50-year-old. Hell, I don’t know if anybody from my generation dose for that matter.
