Finally! I don’t know if this is a prompt that I just overlooked about a year ago, or if it’s an entirely new one. Either way, I’m excited to make some original content again.
I’m no civil engineer, So I don’t know what I would have my own city of the future look like. But I do know that I would want to have it clean. And I don’t just mean litter free. I would want clean energy. For everyone. Also, the city would provide Housing resources, and infrastructure for everybody. Sure, an impressive downtown skyline would be cool, but I don’t know how terribly necessary that is today.
I guess I would probably want my future city to look something like future Earth looks like in the Star Trek franchise. For some reason, it seems like everything on Star Trek Earth happens in San Francisco.
Yes, I suppose this is cheating a bit. But the truth is, I’ve always loved the future of humanity as it has been portrayed in the Star Trek franchise. I love Star Trek’s utopia vision of the future that says: there will be no hunger. There will be no greed. Everyone will have everything they ever need. Humanity, according to Star Trek, lunch or something of a new Renaissance. When the pursuit of knowledge is the driving force, in people’s lives. Even within the Star Trek universe, Earth is called a paradise,
This sounds like a pretty good place to spend the future in.
