A year ago I responded to this prompt with the following blog post…
While my CPAP has certainly been a positive lifestyle change, there is another “game changer” for me – one of which I am only beginning to reap the benefits: working out / exercising.
I can’t work out at the frequency that I used to after my divorce (12 years ago already!) but I am still working out 3-4 times each week. When I’m not able to get to the gym, I’ll do a workout from my Planet Fitness app.
I fee like I’m FINALLY starting to see some results from it. I feel myself getting stronger. I’m starting to push myself to life more weight. Best of all, I’m no longer leaving the gym completely exhausted!
This is the point at which I’m going to REALLY push myself. Since I’m seeing results that will make me want to go to the gym even more. Hopefully, we’re just getting started. I’m seeing myself having more energy. I’m eating less – as I assumer my body is being “more efficient” with the food I’m eating. Hopefully, we’re just getting started.
