What is your favorite form of physical exercise?

Of course, the actual clanging and banging of weights is highly frowned upon that Planet Fitness… 

My favorite form of exercise is still lifting weights. Also, I’m happy to say that I have been going to the gym a lot more since I wrote my original response to this prompt last year. Recently, however, my trips to the gym is good almost nonexistent as I have been dealing with being sick off-and-on for the last six weeks.

One thing that I am having to remind myself of is the fact that I cannot physically lift weights at either the intensity or the frequency that I did when I first started going to the gym originally 12 years ago. Coincidentally, that’s the same time that I started this very blog. But the fact is, I was 38 then; and I’m 50 now. At this age, most peoples bodies do start to slow down. Not to say that we all automatically get out of shape; but we have to work harder for what is most likely less effective results. also, when I first went through my divorce, I was unemployed. I had more time on my hands, which meant I had more time to be at the gym.

I still would like to find a way to get more dedicated to taking better care of my body. I think that’s going to become a matter of time management and prioritizing, however.
