With the upcoming US presidential election at the forefront of my thoughts, one thing that I think one people need to know is this:
- The truth is the truth. Just because you don’t like something that is factually true doesn’t make it false. Just because you choose to deny the facts, deny reality, doesn’t mean that you are right and the rest of the world is wrong. Or to put it a few different ways:
- Joe Biden won the 2020 US Presidential election, and it wasn’t close.
- The January 6 riot on Capitol Hill was an insurrection attempt (albeit a poorly planned one) and the people involved that day are guilty of treason.
- If you’re supporting a presidential candidate who says he wishes he “had generals like the ones Hitler had” you are wrong side of history.
I’m sorry if these truth come into conflict what your personal beliefs, but they needed to be said. Below is my response to this prompt from last year. I promise that it’s less politically motivated. Enjoy…
