This is my 1,000th post on this blog. That figure seems crazy considering that I’ve had this blog for a little over 12 years. That figure is even crazier still considering that more than half of those 1000 posts (512 including this one) have come in 2024 alone! Incidentally, another 214 of my posts were written just in 2023
I think those two figures alone say a lot about how committed I’ve been to this blog in the last (roughly) 16 months. It’s paid off. I’ve read some great blogs and corresponded with a lot of great people. I must admit that sometimes the blog feels like a chore or an obligation, rather than a labor of love.
Today is also International Men’s Day. The purpose of which it bring attention to the issues that face men like mental, parental alienation and suicide. Check the official international Men’s Day website for more information. In the meantime, In the meantime, here’s a few stats to think about. Men may very well run the world, but too many of us end giving our lives to do so.
