As WordPress continues to recycle old prompts, I pulled another prompt from The Coffee Monsterz Co to respond to today.

Sum-up your day in one word, your week in one word, and your month in one word.
My day: relaxing

Okay in this case, I’m talking about yesterday. I spent it with The Sailor, her daughter and the daughter’s boyfriend celebrating The Sailor’s birthday.

My week: Recovering

I was sick late last week and earlier this week. I got into see the doctor and I’m feeling better, thanks to the wonders of modern medicine.

Meanwhile, the most of the United States was digging itself out of an Arctic deep freeze. states as far south as Florida and Louisiana were experience blizzard conditions! Here in Michigan, my school was cancelled for 2 days due to dangerously low temperatures and sub-zero wind chills. It’s “warmer” now so that’s a relief.

My month: Regrouping

Since November, the proverbial elephant in the room has been the fact that Donald Trump would become President again on January 20. I’ve been in a constant state of dread ever since he won the election.

Sounds like a plan. When your feeling under the weather, you need to recharge your batteries.
