We’re only six days into PRIDE – the celebration of all things LGBTQ – and already we’ve had the gayest thing that could possibly happen this month: the Bromance, between Donald Trump, and Elon Musk has apparently ended in spectacular fashion.
Personally, I’m not really sure I ever understood what the connection was. Yes, Trump was running for president. Yes Elon Musk is an obscenely successful entrepreneur. There has been speculation that perhaps Elon Musk helped rig the 2024 election on Trump’s behalf. Whether you believe that theory or not, it is common knowledge that Musk donated millions to Donald Trump’s 2024 election campaign
Then, something happened. As best as I can tell, I believe it is a part of Trump‘s “big beautiful Bill“ that would end. tax incentives for consumers who are purchasing electronic vehicles. Thought process being that tax Bray were an incentive for people to buy electronic vehicles. Without those, Tesla sales would almost certainly decrease.
It would seem that Musk thought he had the market cornered on EVs in the United States; as Trump had turned the White House lawn Into a Tesla dealership one Saturday morning and appeared to be doing an infomercial.
Yesterday, Musk went off in a series of social media posts, one of which claims that Donald Trump was in fact in the Epstein files – the infamous that implicated Theo Epstein that presumably implicates many other rich and powerful people as well. CNN has posted a timeline of yesterdays social media meltdowns. You can see it HERE.
Democrats like me are frothing at the mouth right now. Personally, I’m hoping that he’s going to announce that he did, in fact, rig the 2024 presidential election. There already was one post where he said “he would not have won without me“ and very specifically said that The final numbers in the US Senate would’ve been 51–49 in favor of the Republicans, albeit barely.
In response, former Donald Trump advisor Steve Bannon is calling for the deportation of Elon Musk.
Let’s face it: this is, by no means a “babyface turn” on the part of Elon Musk. He’s turning on Trump because he feels like Trump is betraying him, and his own financial interests. This hardly makes him a hero. Even with that in mind, I am grotesquely fascinated by this “break up“ as it unfolds in real time. It is holding my attention the way that I could old-fashioned train wreck.
Finally , I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that I have been finally starting to play with ChatGPT in ernest. The image that featured on this very post as one that I treated you ChatGPT.
