Not down with brown

As WordPress continues to recycle old prompts, I pulled another prompt from The Coffee Monsterz Co to respond to today

Is there a colour you dislike? If so, why?

Before I get started with my response to today’s, I would like to say happy Independence Day to my fellow Americans. With that in mind, I’m not feeling very patriotic right now, as the US House of Representatives passed the new budget bill, dubbed by Donald Trump has been doubting as “the big beautiful Bill”. I will most definitely have some things to say about it over the course of the next few days. However I don’t want to let that news bring me down for the moment. Kid 2’s birthday was yesterday, so the holiday has taken on even more of a person’s significance since.

Now, on with my response to today’s prompt…

I’ve never been a big fan of brown. Tan is OK. Beige is fine. As a middle-aged suburban, white guy, I suppose khaki is one of my go-to business casual colors, but I’ve never cared for regular brown.

I suppose the reason I don’t like brown is because it’s just a kind of drab color. It. doesn’t look as tough as black. It’s not as vibrant as red or blue or even green. Nor is it is clean as white. I’m not really big fan of pink or purple either. But I have known both of those colors from time to time
