As WordPress continues to recycle old prompts, I pulled another prompt from The Coffee Monsterz Co to respond to today
Is there something you hope will happen by the end of this year?
I can’t say that there’s anything that I hope would magically “just happen” before the end of the year. There are a lot of things in my life to which I would like to get some resolution. But I don’t think that’s necessarily the same as saying that there’s something that I hope will happen by the end of the year.
I feel like there’s a lot of things in my life right now that are just in kind of a state of flux. Good one is just starting college. I’m working, and have job security; but for the first time in a few years, I’m starting to think that I need to move on and find another school.
Mother‘s health continues to be an ongoing issue. The truth is I don’t see her getting any better. And while this may sound really bad and I don’t wish her to die or anything like that, I hope that she can at least find some peace I’ve just Seen her suffering for a long time and throwing dementia into the mix doesn’t make for a fun situation.

Friday night, I turned out a baseball game with Veronica and her son, whom I will call little Spicolli. This was the first time Spicolli and I have actually met. All things considered I thought it went really well. To be honest with you, it felt very natural, very comfortable feel the weight any massive of expectations for the gravity of the moment.
It’s strange because for the last few months, I’ve had the feeling that I was taking this relationship more seriously than Veronica was. She seems to have a very casual approach to things. But while I say that, Veronica has not met either kid 1 or kid 2 yet. Granted, both Veronica and her ex-husband live relatively close by; whereas X1 and X2 both live out of town. Any way, you slice it, medium your partner’s kids is a big step
