As WordPress continues to recycle old prompts, I pulled another prompt from The Coffee Monsterz Co to respond to today

What is a “first world problem” you have right now?

As of this writing, these are same first world problems I’m dealing with. . None of these are a crisis. They are not earth shattering. I also keep in mind that the majority of the people on planet Earth live on less than two dollars a day. These are are frivolous things I’m complaining about. They are luxuries that are not going 100% my way. They are Rob’s first world problems…

I’m currently undecided if I want to make my second-trip-in-three-weeks to Madison, WI to see Kid 2 again. I was originally scheduled to go this coming Friday, but I ended up going last Friday for a semi emergency trip which I wrote about HERE. Right now I’m just having a tough time rationalizing putting all miles on my car and running myself into the ground for essentially a whirlwind trip

I’m feeling creatively stifled at my job. I love to teach, but I’m not really doing much teaching, as my students are currently in a self guided, online curriculum. That result in me spending more of my time, doing busy work, and grading the assignments that are turned in; as opposed to planning and presenting my own lesson plans. It’s an easier job than traditional, face-to-face, teaching, but it is not as exciting.

I’m trying to increase traffic on this very blog. No particular reason. I don’t have any money invested in this, other than my domain name. But for the simple endorphin rush that I get from seeing higher numbers in the day we come month or even year before.

As I said, these are all first world problems. They are definitely good problems to have, as I like to say. So please take my complaining amount with a grain of salt.
