What would you like to get done before 2024 ends?
Turning the calendar this morning, I see that we are now in episode 11 of the 12 episode mini-series that is 2025. I can’t believe we’re already to November. Of the last few days I’ve been trying to look ahead on the calendar and start mapping out Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks with the boys.
Disappointing I really would like some resolution with the situation with XST. I kind of like some definitive answers about me and Veronica.
It’s interesting to think that I’ve already done two of my “blueprint for…” posts. I looked at my 2025 blueprint earlier tonight and was surprised to see them. I’m still not hitting some of my major goals.
Having said that, here’s a few things I would like to accomplish before the end of this calendar year:
Lose some weight
I’ve recently started eating better and I cut back on my soda and take drastically, I think now is the time to really get back into working out. I’ve been saving several of those app/cut workout videos and I find online. I think I need to start doing this now, even if I don’t do another workout for the day, I have to get rid of my cut.
My problem is, looking back at these old blueprint posts, I’m noticing the same things I listed over and over again: lose weight, get in shade, get my masters degree. At some point, I’m going to have to decide that I really want to get very serious about achieving some of these goals. Not saying I’m ready to give up my social life and everything else, but I’m really starting to feel like I am going to have to make weight loss in a better diet one of the driving forces of my life.
That’s the one that gets me: losing weight. That’s the one thing I really want to do in the time remaining in this calendar year. Cutting back on my soda intake is probably a much bigger part of the paddle than I even realize. Now that I’ve got that out of my system, I just need to get back to working out on a regular basis
