I stumbled across this article “Why Women are so attracted to Middle Aged Dads” the other day on my Facebook timeline (and yes, I’m aware that it’s through the AARP) and as a middle-aged father, it really got me thinking.

We’ve all seen it. Whether we realize it or not, whether we like it or not, kids are chick magnets – even more so than dogs, or puppies or even teacup pigs. I’m really not sure what though. I can only assume it’s because there are so few good dads out there that some women are majorly turned on by the idea of a man being a responsible father. I know that the traditional family model is an endangered species; but are there really that many shitty dads out there?
