A game changer

What daily habit do you do that improves your quality of life?

I’d really like to say that working out as a daily habit that improves the quality of my life; but the truth is, I don’t work out every day – or anywhere close to every day right now for that matter

For the last year and a half, I’ve been using a CPAP machine while I sleep at night. I was seeing somebody at the time, and as we would hang out and watch TV, there were times where she would swear up-and-down that I was snoring. For the life of me, I don’t even remember being asleep at that point. I think my nose was just starting to make a whistling noise as I would breathe through it.

So I filled out the questionnaire and had a sleep study conducted. They told me that I definitely needed a CPAP machine and apparently it’s a fairly high setting.

For those who don’t know, a CPAP machine, forces air, not even pure oxygen, into your lungs while you sleep. Getting better airflow results in getting better rest.

I remember when I was wearing the mask during my second round of testing, it was the absolute best night of sleep I’ve ever gotten in my life. To this day, I sleep much deeper than I did previously. My snoring is almost nonexistent, from what I’m told. It has truly been a game changer for me.
