Hey Rob, I just listened to your latest podcast, and although I can’t judge, if you took the right decision with Jessica, I think that deep down you know the decision was the right one.
I like your voice, well done. And yes, a dog can be a wonderful companion. My dog Edward, a Corgi, is such a loyal and happy dog.
When I was in treatment for cancer in hospital, I couldn’t see him for one month. When I finally came back, he went ballistic, jumping all over me, pure joy unleashed. He then followed me everywhere I went, like he wanted to say:”You won’t get away, I’ll watch you.” Edward was then my therapy dog, lifting my spirits up. It’s a unique experience.

Yeah, the situation with Jessica was one of those where I knew almost immediately that I had done the right thing. I felt this weight that have been lifted off of my shoulders as soon as we were done. I think my problem now, since I haven’t been on too many dates since her is that I almost need to “get her out of my system“ still.
Yeah, dogs are incredible dude! That is a kind of bond. I’m looking for in my life I think. I kind of got sucked into the pet video black hole on TikTok recently!

You’ll get to the point of leaving Jessica behind. There is no rule about how long it takes. Yeah, I think I’m safe, I live in Italy, weather’s cold, but not too bad. Great to talk to you. Have a great day Rob
