In the movie Groundhog Day, weatherman Phil Connors (Bill Murray) gets stuck in a time loop and spends much of the movie re-living the same day over and over again.
I suppose it’s only timely that last night, I had my own Phil Connors experience. I was supposed to meet up with Ro, who I mentioned on this post from a few days ago. She ended up cancelling, which wasn’t too surprising. What’s ironic is that as I was confirming with her the day before, she said to me we’re good “unless you cancel on me, again”.
I’m not whining about this and this isn’t “sour grapes”. But I think I’m getting off that merry-go-round once and for all. I’m tool old for all of this “will they or won’t they” crap.
