Not only are there a lot of small improvements i can make in my life; but I feel like I’m in the process of making some of them now.
Since the first of the year, I’ve been trying to get back in the habit of going to the gym on a consistent basis. As of now, I have to say I’m pretty much hooked on it! There is when I find myself in a bad mood and I realize that the only thing that will help snap me out, it is a good workout. Course, I am trying to take more “rest days” now then I might have 10 years ago – the last time I was trying to turn myself into a gym rat
One thing that has gone hand-in-hand with me working out more frequently is my diet. I’m not necessarily eating much better than I normally do, but I noticed and I am eating smaller portion sizes of everything. I am eating a few more meals. It’s as if my Metabolism is actually getting more efficient. The more I work out.
I will say that I have definitely cut back has been my soda intake. I don’t drink coffee; so my main source of caffeine is soda, Pepsi in particular. As of this writing, I’m down to two cans per day. Granted, I still got a ways to go with that, but it is an improvement from where I was previously. I will at times find myself opening a can of soda and drinking less than half of it; only to find that I cannot finish it.
