The only procedure I’ve ever had that was technically a surgery was having three of my wisdom teeth removed.
it’s been 19 years since I had my wisdom teeth removed. I remember it was a Thanksgiving break, November 1995. We had just met one a few weeks prior at our school registration for college. At this point we already been dating for a few weeks. I remember thinking how sweet it was because she had called several times to check up on me and stuff.
They put me completely under. I didn’t even know what was going on. It was only until after the surgery, and when I came to that, I realize that my wisdom teeth were gone. All in all, I thought the recovery went about as easily as it probably could.
I wish I had something more exciting to tell about my surgery history, but that’s it. Beyond that, the closest thing I’ve had was the colonoscopy that was done about 18 months ago, which I wrote about HERE.
