600 Days!

Published by

I know that this streak is nowhere near as impressive as some than I have seen. But I must admit that I had a couple times recently, where I thought the street was going to end.

I’m going to see if I can make it to 730 days…

You can write posts in the past and fix a broken streak, if it’s just 1-2 days

I did try that but it didn’t work for me, or else I did it wrong…I lost my streak a few days before hitting 365 😦

        😮

At this point, I feel like my streak is living on borrowed time; as I’m fully aware that WordPress could lose track of it any day

That’s what I’m shooting for. Two years. And then I’ll just see how much longer I keep going from there.

I have seen some people who have said the site has lost their streak and started them back at zero as well

I’m glad to hear it! I must admit that there are some days where it feels like a bit of a chore.

Lately what I’ve been doing is looking at the next days, prompt and writing it the day before. Then can I schedule to post it like 5 AM Eastern time.

I’m a day winner is actually something exciting. Going out of my life, I might post two or even three entries per day. Or, sometimes I’ll just keep one of them as a draft so I can post it the following day.

I get that, the pressure to blog to keep the momentum going. I blog in the early morning. Lately, the Daily Prompt hasn’t interested me. I publish travel photos instead. Or perhaps I am inspired and write on something. 🌻

That is the only problem with keeping street going as long as I have. Word presses run out of new prompts to write on. Granted, I don’t know how many I think they should really have available.

But here is a link to a site with a bunch of new prompts that I found that I’ve been using for the last few months https://thecoffeemonsterzco.com/blogs/midnight-blogging/journaling-prompts

Nice job. Remember, quality counts more than quantity though, so keep up the good work there also. 🙂

Thanks. There are some days where I feel like I’m “phoning it in” so I’ll keep this in mind.
