First World problems in burgeoning Third World country

As WordPress continues to recycle old prompts, I pulled another prompt from The Coffee Monsterz Co to respond to today

Where should you cut your spending a bit?

Wow, this is a loaded question!

But it is a timely one. With the new tariffs The Orange Man has put into effect for most countries in the world, things are going to get more expensive here in the United States. The sad part is it’s really not necessary. The Orange Man tells us that he thinks It’s going to grow manufacturing here in America. It won’t. We are a nation of consumers. But I digress…

Streaming services

I’m probably spending way too much money on streaming services right now. I’m trying to watch a little bit on each of them, but I know that I have streaming apps that I’m paying for and I hardly ever watch. This would be a great area where I could cut costs.

Baseball games

I love going to baseball games, especially getting on the road and going to them. I can’t say that money is no object for me as I do have a finite budget, but I also prepare myself for the possibility that I’m going to spend money when I go to a game. But this is another area where I Could save some money by going to fewer games every year. So far this season, I’m on pace to go to more games than I did when my family had a partial season ticket package!

America’s addiction to impulse buying

As an American, sometimes I think that impulse buying is just ingrained into our collective psyche. We see something that we like, we have the money in our pocket, so we buy it. At least many of us do. As it was, last night I bought a new Detroit Tigers T-shirt that I didn’t really need, but I simply wanted it. showing some restraint on impulse buying is another example of way in which I can stop spending so much money.
