What habit of a roommate would be an immediate dealbreaker for you?
It’s been so long since I’ve had a roommate, let alone had to think about qualifications for one, they would have to think about this for a moment.
I think my nonnegotiable dealbreaker in a roommate would be if the person was even sloppier than I am. I’ve met some pretty disgusting people in my time and while I am far from being a neat freak, I do have certain standards upon which I am not willing to compromise. I simply could not live with someone who was even messier, or more willing to live in a dirtier home than I am.
Does that make me more of an Oscar or a Felix? And for those of you who don’t understand that reference, Google The Odd Couple. I’m not sure what end of the cleanliness spectrum I’m at. I want to say I’m “somewhere in the middle” but I’m sure everybody’s else thinks that if themselves too
Your GenX Moment of the Day
For anybody curious about today’s featured image, it a a Garbage Pail Kid. GPK was a wildly successful line of stickers that parodied the Cabbage Patch Kids dolls of the 1908s. I think Topps still sells these in one for or another to this day. Obviously, I liked this one because it has my name on it.
