OK, so I’m exaggerating slightly here someone. Clearly I could survive without these apps. However, I don’t know how well my blog would be doing without the first app.
No extra garnishes, no table dressing, here’s my top five mobile apps, in no particular order:
WordPress / Jetpack – for obvious reasons
Facebook – Face it. See what i did there? This one has become as ubitiquous as a kitchen appliance. Everybody is on Facebook.
Instagram – once descirbed on the sitcomm Two Broke Girls as “for people who can’t read.”
TikTok – I hate it but TikTok’s algorithm is still insanely addictive. Fortunately I view other stuff far more than i post.
MLB – For a hardcore baseball junkie, this app is indispensable. Plus I’m able to stream Tigers games through it. Of course, the only drawback to this app is that it becomes pretty much irrelevant during the off-season.
Rebuilding a life takes grit, consistency, and a lot of ‘Option C’ thinking. Having crossed the 1,000-day milestone, I’m now charting the territory beyond. The mission remains the same: No glitz. Just the work. New to the blog? Start your journey here to see the blueprint and the ‘Tricorder’ perspective behind the rebuild.
