Chicks Dig The Car

What is your all time favorite automobile?

Happy Boxing Day to those of you in the rest of the English-speaking world. Unfortunately, Americans are way too selfish to do anything as considered as Boxing Day. As such, I’ll be spending the day cleaning up after my kids and getting ready for a road trip tomorrow.

One year ago today, I wrote about the fact that my all-time favorite automobile is the Batmobile. That sentiment is still true to this day. That original response is embedded below:

Then, just a few weeks after I wrote those words last year, I got the opportunity to see “five generations of the Batmobile“ at Autorama here I. Detroit. It’s an event that I’ve never attended previously. I’ve heard about it for decades, as they’ve always advertise having the hot rod show and a few celebrity meet and greets as well as some famous cars from TV shows and movies. so when the spirit of pulling the proverbial trigger and making things happen, I went downtown to Autorama, alone that day. I wrote about that experience unless entry that I have embedded below here:

Several years back, I remember there being an air show out at Ypsilanti’s Willow run airport. I really wanted to go to it at the time. Not only did they have the original Bat Copter from the 1966 Batman movie on site, they were offering helicopter rides in it!. Unfortunately, money was a little bit tight at the time and well I could’ve afforded it, the rest of the day would’ve been done very much on the cheap. And when you’re in an exclusive, committed relationship, sometimes such frivolous spending is look down upon for a man.

Get me a ride on this helicopter, and I’m pretty sure I would be able to die in peace.

However, if f that opportunity should present itself again, I would most definitely pay money to go take a ride on the bat copter. Can they even maintain and operate – let alone fly – a 60-year-old helicopter like that?

To be honest, I don’t really think I have a lot more that I can say about the Batmobile than what I’ve said already. Sometimes it’s sleek, sometimes it’s more of a tank. But it’s always cutting edge and it’s always cool. Hopefully you enjoy these reposts about my all-time favorite car.

As an American, I am slightly offended that you’re judging us or not observing Boxing Day. 😅 I’m not criticizing anyone else for not celebrating Thanksgiving or Independence Day.

    I jest.

On a more serious note, how do you do the block for previous blog posts? I’m relatively new to WordPress, so I would appreciate any direction you could provide. 🙏🏻

In a little search box for blocks, search for one called “latest posts“ and then I think you can change it for three, five or however many you want. I have mine set at 5

There’s also another block called “related post” where it will actually search for… You may that are related to the one that you just posted

The cool thing about both of them is that the update on their own.

I hope this helps Justin. Thanks for the kind words and I’ll be checking on your blog as well!
