As WordPress continues to recycle old prompts, I pulled another prompt from The Coffee Monsterz Co to respond to today
What do you need most right now?
I can think of two things I need most of my life right now: money, and peace. And they’re not necessarily in that order. Really, I don’t think my needs are outrageous.
Peace
This one isn’t quite as lofty as it sounds. Well it’s true that I would like to see world peas, I think I just need peace of my life right now. Peace from the chaos. Peace from dealing with an infantile president. Peace dealing with my exes. Peace dealing with my relatives. What a strive for is a drama-free life really.
Money
Like my inspiration for peace, I don’t need to to have all the money in the world. I don’t even need to be absolutely wealthy. I would just like to have enough money that I don’t really have to worry about getting more of it for the rest of my life.
Maybe I could have a Forrest Gump-like moment. You know, where he invests in Apple computers in the late 70s or early 1980s; it pays off massive dividends and he never really has to worry about money again.
OK, so I guess the money thing isn’t so much a need as it is a want. I’m gainfully employed. I have money in my pocket. I’m very fortunate and that I have a roof over my head and food on my table. For tomorrow and he would make life a little bit less stressful, and a a lot more peaceful.
And that brings us back to doe…
