As an English teacher, and somebody who fancies himself as a writer and something of a linguist, there are usually a handful of words that are in our Lexon any given time that really annoy the crap out of you. This is usually because they’re overused.
The most recent of these words that really annoys me is “woke“. I think you’ll be able to tell a lot, not just about my feelings on the word, but probably even about the way I view the world of my political ideology and the following meme:
